Day 4 - Thursday 7th March 2024. Today we got up early to have breakfast at our accommodation and take the bus to the door of our temporary home in the direction of the Roman ruins of Conimbriga. There they explained to us how the museum works, we were able to see a peristyle in operation and we observed the Roman ruins, some of the best preserved in Europe and with one of the most outstanding walls on the continent. In the afternoon they took us to a local association where we presented our institute, our Bachillerato Nocturno and the history and culture of Asturias and Gijon. Then they asked us questions and we all ended up delighted with the cultural exchange. We are sure it would be one of many!
